Mum's the Word explores our shared postpartum experience through creative expression
Course Details
A space where you can bring your whole self (and your baby!). Find connection and community with other new mothers while supporting your maternal wellbeing through gentle creative journaling exercises. No artistic experience necessary. Themes include: Shifting identities Your relationship to your body Harnessing self compassion Yourself as mother Discovering your creative voice Maternal rage Dates: Monday 20th, 27th April (no session on 4th May for early May Bank holiday), Monday 11th, 18th May Time: 10:30am - 12pm Venue: Tallo, SeaSpace, Watergate Rd, Newquay TR7 3LX (sea views & plenty of free parking!) Price: £12.50 per session (includes a hot drink, your own maternal journal and all crafting material). Babies welcome. There are high chairs and a giant play mat - a social space for the babes while mums get creative.
Cancellation Policy
Booking & Payment Your place is confirmed once full payment has been received. All sessions and events must be booked in advance, and spaces are kept intentionally small to create a supportive, intimate environment. Cancellations & Changes Bookings are non-refundable. If you’re no longer able to attend please get in touch. If you or your baby are unwell where possible I will try to offer your place to someone on the waiting list or transfer your booking to a future session, course, or retreat. In the unlikely event that I need to cancel or make significant changes, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to an alternative date Courses (e.g. Baby Massage Blocks) When booking a multi-week course, your space is reserved for the full duration. Unfortunately, I’m not able to offer refunds or credits for missed sessions, but I will always try to share anything you’ve missed where I can. Minimum Numbers Some sessions and events require a minimum number of participants to run. If this isn’t met, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer.
